My main question is about the head bolts- are they reusable or are they torque to yield? NAPA says that it is "suggested" to replace them in the listing for the Fel Pro gasket set but doesn't have a listing for the bolts and the only head bolts i can find at any of the online part places (summit, etc) are for ARP's that cost $250.
anyways, it looks damn near brand new inside so i'm just gonna repalce the goofy lifters on the cylinders that get shut off with regular lifters, put an LS9 cam and matching valve springs in it, and slam it back together. i figured that since it had 344k miles on it and it was replaced due to a lifter tick, i might as well tear it down.
I've got this 元3 out of an '09 Suburban that i'm wanting to put in my Camaro.
